Surgery day

We just got home from taking Reign in for her surgery on the possible stitch reaction. I would love to say I have no fear but it’s just not true. They ran a couple tests and her clotting is normal and everything else looks good except her lactate ( not sure of spelling ) it was a 5 and they said normal was around 3. Since she has never been tested for this he doesn’t know if it’s normal. They are going to run it again once she’s under to see if it was because she was stressed. At least he knows to watch this. The vet and his staff were amazing and let us stay until I knew I couldn’t handle anymore. She has a very good strong IV and seemed very relaxed with the techs. Because she has 2 spots to be checked out they had to pretty much shave all of her since she’s so little. So now we wait and no one likes waiting! I will post again once I know more
